Kettlebells

 

Kettlebells are one of the most effective tools for fat loss, core strength, and total body conditioning. Kettlebells are currently being used by the U.S. military, Olympic athletes, and are becoming more accessible to the general public. The exercises will improve your stability, strength and endurance, and they are fun and interesting to do. Proper form is critical for success, so come join us to perfect your technique with individual feedback from your instructor.


TRX (Suspension Training)

Born in the U.S. Navy Seals program and developed by Fitness Anywhere, Suspension Training is a revolutionary method of leveraged bodyweight exercises. The TRX can be used to perform hundreds of exercises that increase power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries. Intensity levels are easily varied to adapt to each individual's abilities.

 


Core and Conditioning

Our world is three-dimensional; we move forward and back in the sagittal plane, we move side to side in the frontal plane, and we rotate in the transverse plane. In order to train effectively, we need to consider movement in these three planes of motion to make sure all muscles are getting stimulated. These functional abdominal exercises will be grouped in three directions or planes of motion for each exercise, enabling you to strengthen your core like never before.

In addition, an optimal conditioning program is essential for improving performance, agility, and proprioception of your muscles while you BURN tons of calories and improve the efficiency of your heart and lungs.

 


 

Strength Training

 

Strength is a key factor when developing a total body revolution program and establishing the foundation to attain results. This group training session will teach the novice to the elite, advanced exercises that will increase lean body mass, decrease body fat, and improve performance, while being closely monitored for proper form and technique. Performing olympic lifts, drills, dumbell and body weight exercises will stimulate your mind and body to your desired fitness level.

 


Endurance and Mobility

Before working on flexibility and mobility of your muscles, it is highly important to be dynamically warmed up. The Endurance portion of this class will do just that while burning tons of calories and strengthening your heart and lungs. Jumpropes, row machines, bikes, versa climbers, agility ladders, and your very own body will all be used during your different Endurance sessions.

Flexibility and Mobility training will improve your overall body alignment. Different exercises will be performed to help eliminate painful hips, knees, and stiff shoulders, making you faster and more powerful, while moving more efficiently. Posture and muscle imbalances will be greatly improved.

 


 

Functional Training

Functional training trains complete body movements, as opposed to isolating one muscle at a time. This provides you better muscular balance and joint stability, while decreasing the chance of injury. Lean and defined muscle tone is attained throughout this style of training because of the multitude of directions and multitude of muscles and stabilizers utilized throughout each exercise.
